Stranded workbag from Stitchcraft, December 1965.

Made with Patons Purple Heather 4-ply in Tartan Green 2443 (2 oz), Emerald 64 (1 oz), Beau Blue 0350 (1 oz), Lipstick Red 104 (1 oz) and Lt. Steel Grey 68 (1 oz). UK needles No. 9 and No. 12. 12-inch wide, store-bought handles. Finished bag is approximately 10 1/2 inches deep.

The bag is made in pieces and then seamed, using stranded knitting technique and knitting back and forth. It is not lined. Two side gussets allow for easy opening.

There are written instructions and a black-and-white photograph in the magazine, but no chart.
