These fingerless mittens are just a small project but incorporate lots of knitting techniques (provisional cast on, Italian tubular cast on, cable pattern from chart, i-cord edge, kitchener stitch, crochet seam) and as such provide a means to learn new techniques and recap on those knitting techniques which are perhaps used only infrequently. Oh, and I actually think the mittens look pretty cool too!!

The smaller size was knitted with just 50g of DK knitting yarn.
