“Woven” is a textured shawl with beautiful woven effect achieved by using linen stitch. This shawl would make a great accessory for any time of the year. The shawl is seamless and knitted top-down from the central neck stitches to the edge. The shawl is shaped as a triangle. .

Finished Size:
The sample shawl in the photographs after blocking was 154 cm (60.6 inches) for the straight edge on the top of the shawl and 61 cm (24 inches) for the height of the shawl at the center. You can easily make it bigger or smaller.

Gauge:
The gauge is not critical in knitting this shawl. Adjust your needle size to suite your yarn and achieve the size and the look of the shawl of your choice. Keep in mind that linen stitch is not stretchy and the shawl will not grow in size significantly after blocking.

Yarn: Madelinetosh tosh merino light (100% Merino, fingering, 4ply).
0.7 skeins = 294.0 yards (268.8m) of colorway “Tern” (color 1) and
0.67 skeins = 281.4 yards (257.3m) of colorway “Fragrant” (color 2) were used for the sample shawl.
