Materials used
size US 6 knitting needles
small amount worsted weight yarn
medium-large decorative button
matching thread
sewing needle

Stitches used:
k: knit
p: purl
kfb1: knit front & back of same stitch to increase
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
yo: yarn over needle to increase or form hole

worked flat
buttonhole optional; button can be functional or decorative.

size easily adjusted by casting on more or less stitches in multiples of 4 for width; working more or less rows in multiples of 5 for length. May also use larger or smaller needles & yarn for different sizes.
