Much simpler than it looks, these socks are knitted using a mosaic slip stitch pattern. A perfect beginner project for those who want to try mosaic knitting.

Mosaic knitting like other forms of colorwork yields a thicker less stretchy fabric. As such this sock will not be as stretchy as other socks. However various sizes can be made adjusting gauge and stitch counts.

These socks are knit from the toe up, included in the pattern are instructions for both a rounded toe and a pointed toe. Also included is a thorough tutorial on a shadow wrapped short row heel.
