Wrap-Around Nellie is a cozy infinity scarf/cowl because it is knit holding a strand of knitting worsted and a strand of a mohair/silk yarn together.Use a needle size of your choice that works well with your yarn selections. Both the cast-on and first row are knit flat. Then the scarf is joined in the round.

The size mostly depends on your choice of yarns and needle--the circumference will be from 54” to 64” and will stretch a bit as you wear it. The width is 6” or more. Again, you make the choices.

The Swirl pattern is an endless repeat of 24 stitches that go round and round.

Wrap-Around Nellie and Cozy Nellie (a small cowl also free on Ravelry) are sister patterns and were once sold as one.

Note: It’s hard to see, but for the turquoise cowl I used up 2 different left-over balls of Cascade with 2 partial balls of Madil Kid-Seta.
