A celebration of color…
Inspired by paint splatters on a drop cloth and the organic beauty in the ordinary.

Wrapped in Greybow, designed & knit in La Bien Aimée’s “Corrie - Confetti”, fully embraces the fun of the confetti bursts of color dappled throughout. A perfect balance of neutral grey base & brightly-colored tweedy bits create a joyful canvas for bands of texture and contrasting stripes.

Wrapped in Greybow is a “kite construction” shawl that begins with a handful of stitches. Strategically placed increases and decreases create this unique shape: growing in Parts I-II, shaping in part III, and tapering in Part IV.

Wrapped in Greybow highlights the bright bursts of colors scattered randomly throughout Corrie Confetti, complimented with contrast color stripes. This shawl is a warm & snuggly quick knit using light worsted weight.

This is an advanced beginner / intermediate level pattern.

Size
Approximately 80” / 200 cm wingspan as oriented for wear, post (steam) blocking.
Note! A full wet blocking, especially if you are working in SW yarn, will result in a larger finished size as the Garter Stitch sections will relax and be less squishy.

My sample reflects the following colorways: Corrie Confetti (Greybow) paired with Corrie Worsted: Dawn, Rust, Yellow Brick Road, and Winterfell. The Spring green in my sample is another yarn… For a Corrie Worsted comparison, I would recommend “The Shire” colorway.
