These distinctive gloves feature one lone cable wandering diagonally from the cabled cuff across the back of the hand towards the little finger of each hand. Knit in a 50/50 wool/silk blend yarn, the sheen of the silk content adds an air of sophistication.

The cable drifts by placing the increases that normally form the thumb gusset on the back of the hand. The slight biasing of the fabric that forms as a result of shifting the gusset stitches helps the glove to hug the hand without the added bulk of ribbing.

While the stitch pattern is not difficult, the innovative construction method is recommended for adventurous knitters.

One size (7.5 inch diameter) with direction for custom finger lengths. The biased fabric allows it to fit most women. Other gauges suggested for smaller or larger hands.
