Lightly treaded paths wander and wind through nature. The forest looms tall and towering overhead, an enchanted realm flourished with potential for magic. Stories and wonders that lay dormant wake and rise at each little footstep, unfurling like pathside fern fronds. Small fairy houses dot the path, unknowingly aiding the measure of awe in a child’s heart. The beauty and intricacy of a tiny pinecone comes alive, cradled in dirt-caked hands.

Yardage: 400 (450, 550, 675, 775, 850) yds/375 (425, 500, 625, 725, 775) m

Construction Notes: Sweater is designed for layering and is slightly shorter and/or wider than you may anticipate. Please see finished measurements on page 5. If you would like to add length to the body of the sweater, you could knit an additional round or two of stockinette before each chart.
Sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up with size specific texture patterns in both charted and written format. Front and back are knit in the round to the underarm, then worked flat, and joined at the shoulders with a 3 needle bind off. Sleeves and neckline are picked up and knit in the round.
