This simple robe (constructed from the top down) highlights the soft, cushy properties of Araucania’s Nature Cotton and reminds me in texture and feeling of a welcoming, cotton bedspread (much like the one depicted in my favorite Wyeth painting, Master Bedroom). I used elastic cord to gather the sleeves and pockets and an invisible zipper to open the front just to the waist. I then finished the inside zipper edges with a colorful piece of trim.
