Pattern Description
Funny how one idea sparks another, then another, then, well, you get the idea. First it was the drawstring top, after that along came the lack of decreases for the crown, followed by a sideways cabled band, and before long there was Wylde Oats. I cannot, however, claim all of the credit since much inspiration for this pattern also came from the yarn itself. Something about the feel of Rowan Wool Cotton begs for cables and textured patterns. The cotton content lends a coolness to the yarn, while the 50% merino keeps it springy and warm enough for an Auntumn day.
