X Marks The Sock is a cuff down design, with a heel flap and gusset, with a lacy panel down the centre of the sock, named by my daughter for the cable at the start of each pattern repeat.

It can be worked on dpns, mini circulars or using the magic loop method.

I used sock weight 75% merino/25% nylon yarn (425m per 100g) from www.noodlesoupshop.co.uk to knit the sample socks in the pattern photographs.
