This is a free chart for Norwegian style stranded socks.
I’ve created this chart by combining some of the traditional Selbu motifs used for mittens in Norway.
I’ve applied this chart to knit my toe up socks, but you can use it for a cowl, scarf, hat or whatever you could knit in the round.
The number of stitches to make a complete repetition is 60, so you can make your own item by using a multiple of this number of stitches.
It could be also knit top down, buy just reading the chart from row 53 to row 1.
The gauge is not important, as it depends from the items you’re making.
I think it could be also a crochet chart, by substituting knit stitches with sc stitches.
