This modular square motif blanket combines a fun combination of stitches to create a pleasing textured effect that both beginners and more intermediate crocheters can enjoy.

I wanted to create something in a single block neutral colour so that crafters could imagine re-creating it in their own favourite shades - though you could totally mix and match the colours of the motifs to create something totally unique!

Hook:
A 3.5mm crochet hook (US E/4)

Notions:
• A needle to sew the crocheted pieces together

Yarn: Anchor Baby Pure Cotton Yarn (4ply)

7 x 50g / 165m 00398 (Mushroom)

Finished size: 76cm x 76cm (30” x 30”) square blanket

Gauge: 5htr = 2.5cm / 1 inch

Skill level: Easy
