Yar!

Knitting
November 2007
Worsted (9 wpi) ?
24 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches
in Stockinette
US 5 - 3.75 mm
200 - 250 yards (183 - 229 m)
19" circumfrence

Ahoy me hearties! This double knit, reversible cap is packed fore to aft with so much pirattitude that it walks be thin line between campy and totally awesome.

Designer’s Notes:
If you’re knitting for someone with a larger head, I’ve found that you can easily go up as far as US #7 without the pattern getting too loose to be visible. You will, however, need extra skeins of yarn to do this. The double knit fabric is very stretchy, though, so in most cases, sizing up shouldn’t be necessary.
