This is the pattern I used for teaching toe-up socks. It is a mash-up of a number of techniques, including Turkish cast-on for the toe, a modified Queen Kahuna style toe increase, Magic Loop knitting on one circular needle, and Priscilla Gibson-Roberts’ short-row heel.
