Yarn Cocoon is a knitted, then felted bowl. The function of this creation is to put your ball or skein of yarn inside. Open the slit and feed the yarn through the opening. Now just knit away and your yarn won’t roll away or get tangled. Keeps it away from cats so they don’t think it is play time every time you want to sit and knit!
No gauge is needed. This is an art form. Use needle sizes as suggested and colors of your choice. Knit and then shape when felting. You will be surprised how talented you are when you start getting compliments on your new art piece.
Use 100% wool yarn (worsted=double strand, chunky=single strand)
The cheaper the yarn, the better it felts. Have Fun!!
