OK, these softie eggs look boiled, but I couldn’t resist the pun. Choose a solid color or multi color yarn to mimic dyed eggs. Make these by the dozen and fit them in egg cartons.

Finished measurements:
1.5”-1.75” diam., 2”-2.5” tall

Materials:

• Red Heart Baby TLC Multi acrylic yarn (4.0 oz/242 yds/113 g per skein): 12 yards per egg
• Red Heart Super Saver Multi acrylic yarn (2.5 oz/122 yds/70 g per skein): 13 yards per egg
• Crochet hook one to three sizes smaller than is recommended for the yarn.
• Polyester fiberfill
• Stitch marker

Gauge:
Stitches need to be tight enough such that the fiberfill cannot be seen through the egg.
