Designed for 3 skeins of fingering weight, this shawl is the exclusive pattern for the Progressive Party Yarn Crawl between 3 local yarn shops in Virginia. The shawl pattern is divided into three clues, one for each shop:

Woolly Jumper, Floyd, VA

New River Art and Fiber, Blacksburg, VA

Wool Workshop, Roanoke, VA

Meant for the adventurous beginner, Yarn Shop Valentine is an excellent introduction to three quarters or three-fourths shawl construction. There is texture, lace, and bobbles, and most section instructions are intuitive, with a resting row. The final shape is large and begs to be wrapped or hung easily over the back and shoulders.
