Yarnover Truck shawl
Reminiscent of the 4 wheels and the roads that the Yarnover Truck rides on, I designed this shawl for their participation of the 2018 Los Angeles Yarn Crawl.

It totally mimics their mobile shop with “merging lanes, a tollway and even their four wheels”. Enjoy a bit of fun with this whimsical and asymmetrical shawl. This project is never boring…

This shawl features instructions for 2 sizes.
(13” x 65”) (14.25” x 71.5”) Featured here is the small one.

Yarn: Lyra by Space Cadet, superwash merino, a sport weight yarn (270 yards/100 g).
Available at the Yarnover Truck.
C1 - (variegated) 240 yards (220 m) (265 yards / 242 m)
C2 – Troublemaker (single color) 225 yards (205 m) (250 yards / 229m)

Notions: US size 8 (5 mm) 32” (80 cm) circular needle
Tapestry needle

Gauge: 16 sts and 19 rows in 4” (10 cm) Stockinette stitch, blocked.

The pattern is written and has a photo tutorial for the fun top stitching part.

Tech edited and test knitted.

If you were lucky enough to get the free download via the Yarnover Truck ladies during the crawl, I hope you post your updates on how your shawl is progressing and even add the pattern to your Faves. I for one would love to see all the color combinations pop up…

Enjoy your shawl!
