Tree of life pattern in Yggdrasil mittens is made with twisted stitches in two stitch cables, so no cable needles needed. Palm side of the mitten is twisted 1x1 ribbing that gives great fit. Pattern includes detailed pattern chart.

Perfect pattern for those left over skeins, less than 150 yards is needed for one pair of mittens.

Gauge for 10 x 10 cm:
40 sts and 36 rows in twisted ribbing
26 sts and 38 rows in reverse stockinette

Size:
Average women’s, circumference stretches from 14 cm to 20 cm. Use sport to DK weight yarn for larger sizes, adjust needle size accordingly.
