Yin and Yang often fight over who has the prettiest colors, but they always manage to remain friends. Knit either—or both— with a simple square a few fin pieces. once assembled, all you need to do is add eyes. Add beads for eyes if for an adult, but embroider eyes with French knots if for a child.

YARN
1 ball in either #555 Tapestry or #553 Violet Rainbow

Like all of the cuddly creatures in this book, Yin and Yang can be knit to different sizes by using different yarn weights and gauges. Need it oversized? Use bulky or jumbo yarn. Need it tiny? Try a finer weight. It’s as simple as that.
