In Chinese philosophy, Yin Yang literally means “dark and light”. It refers to complementary opposites. This shawl uses dark and light colors in a striped design that makes a bold statement. It is fully reversible so there is no right or wrong side.

-Sample is knit in the colors: #811 Eggplant (MC) and #857 Light of Love (CC)
-You will need approximately 370 yards of Main Color (MC) and 90 yards of Contrasting Color (CC) light fingering-weight wool yarn.
-1 skein in each color of Malabrigo Yarn Sock (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 440 yards/100g)

The center triangle is knit first from the tip upwards while increasing on the sides of every row. The yo increases will form loops that makes it easy to pick up the stitches for the right and left sides of the shawl.
