Pattern description from Bag Style: “Circles of color play against each other all around this colorful drawstring bag. Designer Judith L. Swartz worked a circular base, then joined fifty-two separate medallions to create the tall sides. For simplicity, Judith worked all the medallions the same way but varied the color sequences for an exciting visual composition. She finished off the bag with rounds of single crochet punctuated with eyelets to accommodate an I-cord drawstring. Then she attached a crocheted handle to the drawstring. to keep contents from poking out between the medallions, Judith lined the bag with cotton fabric.”
