A cropped sweater that is mostly sleeve, this pattern works as a template for your own innovations. The sample is knit with bamboo, but any yarn can be shown off by this simple design. Drape and comfort are essential, so bring on your favorite next-to-skin fibers.

The pattern is written for DK weight yarn and a 38” low bust (rib cage), and the sample was knit using US size 6 needles. Suggestions for increasing the low bust size and the bust volume are included in the pattern.

For this garment, drape is more important than gauge, so use a yarn and needle size that gives a nice drape, and adjust your stitch count accordingly as needed. Finished measurements are given in the pattern.
