Making yogurt at home is simple and inexpensive, not to mention delicious! The only challenging part of making yogurt is keeping the milk warm for several hours in order to promote growth of the active yogurt cultures. To make this process easier, I designed this jar cozy.

My tutorial includes a recipe for making yogurt in a standard one-quart canning jar, as well as instructions for knitting a jar cozy to help with the culturing process.
