This pattern adds a Moebius Twist to a simple cowl to show off the reversible qualities of IODK. It is easily customizable by using a different yarn weight and/or adjusting the number of stitches cast on.

YARN: One skein each of two different colors of the same weight of yarn. Sample shown in Yorkshire Rose Farm Romney Yarn Hand Dyed 2 ply (100% Wool; 200 yds per 100g hank); Color A: Green; Color B: Lavender

NEEDLES: US 10/6.0 mm 27-inch circular needle, or size recommended for yarn choice

NOTIONS: stitch marker

GAUGE: 3 sts = 1 inch

NOTES: This pattern introduces the half twist method of changing colors. Where indicated, simply move the front working yarn to the back, and vice versa. This pattern also introduces rearranging stitches in order to add a varied stitch pattern. Slip the first and third stitches from the left needle to the right needle purlwise, temporarily (and carefully!) dropping the second stitch off the left needle. Place the dropped stitch back on the left needle, then move the slipped stitches from the right needle back to the left needle. Be careful not to twist any stitches as you slip them back and forth.
