This bright fair isle hat is a wonderfully nerdy way to keep your head warm in the winter, or to add that last touch to your Young Amelia Pond cosplay. The hat is small enough to comfortably fit a small head, but will stretch enough to accomodate even a very large head (I should know!). Although the original was machine knitted, this pattern creates a wonderfully accurate hand knit with nearly seamless jogging. A smaller hat will require a finer gauge than DK weight yarn.
