This cowl was designed for the Maryland Fiber Art Studio Tour in December 2019. While designed with Avalon Springs Farm Avalon Worsted, this will work beautifully with yarns from all of the dyers! A matching hat and fingerless gloves are also available.

Finished Size: 23” around, 9” tall

Yarn: Avalon Springs Farm Pendragon Worsted, 100% Superwash Merino wool, 200 yards/4ozs (in Heart Flame). Sample takes about 110 yards. You may also choose to use Flying Goat Farm LiViLy, Dancing Leaf Farm Charleston, Wandering Wool Heights, or Withers Wool handspun.

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or 16” circular needles, size 6 US (4.00 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 16 stitches/24 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette, knit in the round.
