Mystery KAL for Georgia FiberFest 2016!

This is a flirty, geometric shawlette/scarf. It is super cute!

Things you may be learning:

  • Italian cast-on
  • i-cord selvedge
  • working on the bias
  • blending gradient colors
  • reversible lace
  • slip-stitch/monochromatic/tubular double knitting (only 2 rows of it)
  • tubular bind-off

Yes, there are video tutorials on my blog and YouTube channel!

The yarn can be purchased on the Georgia FiberFest website here.

Available in 2 file formats!
Which file should you use?

Booklet file is half-sheet formatted to print as a center-staple booklet if you:
print 2 pages to a side
print on both sides of each leaf
print on margin-less 8.5 x 11 inch paper
(If you’ve taken a class with the designer after June 2012, this is the same format as her class handouts.)
You will have a pieces of paper top to bottom in this order:
8 & 9 on top, pages 10 & 7 on the back,
6 & 11 on top, pages 12 & 5 on the back,
4 & 13 on top, pages 14 & 3 on the back,
2 & 15 on top, pages 16 & 1 on the back,
cover (possibly heavier paper) on bottom (outside) of stack.

E-book file is half-sheet formatted but with all the pages in normal order and the blank inside covers deleted.
If you have a smaller tablet or you read off your smart phone, you shouldn’t have to zoom as much. You can also print this size if you print on 5.5 x 8 inch paper — i.e. half-sheet.

If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can add back in the blank inside covers and use the booklet printing tools in the program.
