Silk and beads evoke the glamour of the 20s in this rectangular lace shawl. Knit from the ends towards the middle and then grafted using Kitchener stitch, this shawl comes in two sizes, with instructions for adjusting the length. (Sample shown is the small size.) Beads add movement and a bit of sparkle to the light, open lace border, which flows into a simple, easily memorized body pattern.

If using beads, you will also need a 0.75mm/US13 crochet hook and 330(402) size 8 beads, 408(512) if using beads throughout the shawl. Pattern includes instructions for bead placement, as well as a link to a tutorial on grafting shawls.

Pattern is charted only.
