These fingerless gloves are designed to use variegated sock yarn, to allow the beauty of the yarn to shine through. They feature a scrunchy, slinky cuff and a fitted thumb gusset.

Seven Fingerless Mittens
I have recently become addicted to knitting fingerless mittens, because they are such a wonderful garment for exploring textures and colours - small enough to take anywhere, and the finished object can be worn and admired easily (unlike socks, which tend to hide in shoes).

All the fingerless mittens/gloves are knit with fingering weight yarn. Unless otherwise specified, semi-solid and solid colours will yield the best result. Highly variegated yarns tend to obscure the pattern.

The patterns will be released as they are ready throughout 2011, and you will receive an email notice each time an update is available. Please click on the link and download the latest version of the ebook. Each update will include all the patterns released to date.
