I. Love. This. Hat.

I love the zig zags. I love the gradual color shift from neutral to bold. I love the pom pom. I love the slouch. I love the warmth provided by stranded knitting. I love the softness and fullness of the malabrigo yarn.

This is a great beginner stranded knitting project, so don’t be intimidated if you are new to that skill or wanting to learn.

Two different colors of malabrigo yarn are used, but only half a skein of each is used. I prefer highly contrasting colors, but complimentary colors can look great as well.

This hat is knit in the round on circulars and double pointed needles. Seamless, bottom up construction.
