This geometric scarf uses two contrasting color yarns in a simple chevron pattern to create the uneven, yet symmetric striped effect. The color balance in this scarf shifts from the ends to the center — it starts out as a brown scarf with black highlights and then gradually becomes a black scarf with brown highlights around the neck area. As you finish the scarf, the color transitions are reversed and it ends up being a brown scarf with black highlights again. I think this would look really amazing in two similar pastel shades, but I have used stronger colors as this scarf was designed for a more masculine look. It is worked
lengthways, so you can make it longer or shorter as you
desire by adding in rows.
