This knit is a light exploration of the mosaic knitting technique - a journey I have been on for a little while now.
The inspiration for the motifs here in the zig zags is the mountains and valleys peppered with rocks and forests, and with lights and shadows. I love the way that mountains outline the horizon, while still giving you a peek at the life they hold and have been created to sustain.

Notions:
Stitch Markers
Tapestry Needle
Blocking tools

Pattern Notes:
Gauge is incredibly important for this design. If you do not get gauge, you could run out of yarn, as this design was meant to use most of your yarn.

For choosing color, I recommend pulling out the darkest color OR the color with the greatest overall contrast for Color 1. This color will be featured with all the other colors, so try to keep that in mind!

Construction:
Starting with your choice of a garter stitch edge or the intended i-cord edge, this cowl is constructed by knitting the mosaic panel first, followed by the four short row wedges.
IMPORTANT Do not remove the stitch markers unless instructed to do so! You will need these markers for each separate section.
