Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate; Includes ribbing, yarn over’s, making stitches, and passing slipped stitches over.
Materials: 1 set of 4 US 1 (2.25 mm)—or appropriate size to achieve gauge—DPNs, tapestry needle (for weaving in ends), spare yarn or a stitch holder, scissors, and measuring tape.
Yarn: Fingering weight, Aprox. 200 yds. Yarn pictured is Malabrigo Sock (440 yards/3.5 oz. 100% superwash merino) Colorway: Archangel
Gauge: 8 sts./inch (in stockinette).
Ease: Negative (due to ribbing and texture)
Size: Ladies’ Small (Medium, Large) Large mitts would probably fit an average man’s hand
Finished Measurements:
Length: 10” from Cuff to Fingertip (adjustable by knitting longer in either the arm or fingertip sections of the pattern.
Circumference: 6” (6.5”, 7”) relaxed, approx. 7” (8”, 9”) slightly stretched
