Ziggy zigs and zags like Bowie on stage, combining the zingy zigginess with a Missoni-like stripe pattern. It looks complicated, but all you need is variegated yarn, the ability to count to 22 and to do some increases and decreases within your round.
The shaping of the sweater is made by knitting it bottom-up in a variation of Susie Myers’ contiguous shoulder shaping, with an excellent sleeve fit, a slight A-line to the body and a deep round neckline finished off with applied I-cord

colors and striping: If you want a shorter sweater, skip one repeat in all stripe patterns. If you want a longer sweater, add a repeat to each stripe pattern. If you have less colors in your stash, make your own chart and divide the colors over the amount of stripes you’ll need.

gauge: Washed and blocked: 23st/28 rounds at 10cm/4” in pattern in the round.
