The ‘ZikZak’ socks are an all over colourwork sock pattern with a simple, meditative pattern that imitates the stockinette stitch shape. This colourwork pattern is simple and easy to remember and will leave you wanting to knit ‘just one more row’.

Using only two contrasting colours these socks can be created with many of your different favourite colour combinations using less than 50g of yarn in each colour.

These socks are knit from the cuff down with a ribbed cuff and a simple short row heel also known as a Boomerang heel (and has no wraps and turns!). The instructions are written for 3 different size socks using separate stitch counts for small, medium and large.

Size Small (foot circumference 18 - 20.5cm or 7 to 8 inches)
Size Medium (foot circumference 20.5cm – 23.5cm or from 8 to 9.25 inches),
Size Large (foot circumference 23.5 – 26cm or from 9.25 to 10.5 inches)
(If the foot size you are knitting the sock for is not listed here you could go up or down a needle size to make the sock bigger or smaller).

Length of foot is adjustable according to the foot length you are knitting the sock for.
