Zing is a simple cowl that uses bold, zesty colour alongside neutral stripes to create a modern, versatile look that you can turn to again and again.

Zing uses simple ribbing and stockinette stitch in-the-round on circular needles, making it a simple project that would be wonderful for relaxed afternoon knitting or knitting while travelling.

The pattern is written for the size shown in the images: a cowl 82cm in circumference and 32cm deep. The size is however easily adjusted by adding additional stitches or rows.

The yarn that I have used in this pattern is Debbie Bliss ‘Roma’, although any super bulky yarn would work just as well.

The yarn shades for Debbie Bliss Roma used in the pattern are as follows:
53008 Citrus
53003 Steel
53001 Ecru
- although of course, the colour combinations possible are limited only by the knitter’s imagination!
