Warm colors to warm the neck during frigid weather! The Zinnia Cowl has two variations: a one-skein version with a prominent and easy-to-follow texture plus a two-color version that can be a knitter’s first-ever stranded colorwork project. Both have decorative, bold eyelet edging on each side of the cowl.

Colorwork is designed so no floats should be caught in, avoiding the possibility of blips of color showing on the right side where you do not want them. Gradience pattern, both written and charted, is intentionally asymmetrical; if a knitter loses track on any row and knits the two colors differently, it will only improve the color transition. No tinking back! A very forgiving introduction to stranded colorwork.

A cowl just like the zinnia itself, uncomplicated, highly decorative, easy to grow.
