Zip Lines is a beautifully textured infinity scarf that is knit in the round and works well with variegated or tonal DK weight yarns. Wear it as a single long loop or doubled around your neck for the perfect light spring or autumn accessory but it is long enough to triple the loops to fit more closely around the neck for the days when the weather turns more blustery and you need just a bit more warmth.

Materials

  • 350-450 yards of DK weight yarn. Samples were knit using 2.3 skeins of Malabrigo Yarn Silky Merino DK / 8 ply (51% Silk, 49% Merino) in the Archangel colorway and 2 skeins of Lorna’s Laces Honor DK / 8 ply (70% Alpaca, 30% Silk) in the Turtle Rodeo colorway
  • Needle: 36” circular needle in U.S. size 6 (4.00 mm)
  • Stitch marker
  • Tapestry needle to weave in ends

Gauge
Gauge is not critical to this pattern, however, differences in gauge may affect the amount of yardage needed and finished size of your project so if you tend to knit more loosely or tightly than average, consider adjusting your needle size to accommodate your personal knitting style.

Size
Approx. 68” around x 8” wide. Pattern includes tips to adjust the size to suit your preferences.
