This was designed by me to accommodate the following desires: 1) I wanted to show off two lovely colors of Sock Yarnista Club Yarn that I love together: Arctic Circle and Auspicious, both on the yarn base Beckon Merino, a somewhat chunky, very stretchy fingering yarn with a tight twist. 2) I wanted to show both colors together, and so use the “knit one below” technique from Elise Duvekot. 3) I wanted to get more practice sewing in zippers—a technique I have trouble with. Finally, I am a sucker for little pouches, of which I have too many.
