Zoё is an elongated triangle shawl great for contrasting colors of yarn.

Materials

Yarn: Two colors of lightweight fingering yarn.

Yardage: Approximately 250 yards of each color.

Needles: Size 3 47-inch circular needles, or size needed to obtain desired gauge.

Gauge: 4.5 stitches and 10 rows per inch in garter-ridge pattern (knit 3 rows, purl 1 row) before blocking.

Dimensions: 43 inches across the top, 17 inches deep at center spine before blocking. The piece opens up further with blocking.

This scarf is worked from the center top out. The shaping is formed with yarn-over increases and the stripes with contrasting colors of yarn.

Both the “right” and “wrong” sides of the fabric are beautiful, so with careful weaving of ends this piece is reversible. Also, looks as good on a man as a woman.
