This is a “recipe” style pattern for simple fingerless mitts or full mittens that will fit your particular appendages. Whether you have monkey hands or mummy hands (like mine), you can make handwear that will keep your rapidly fleeing body heat in with style. :-)

Skills needed:

• Casting on
• Knit Stitch
• Purl Stitch
• Knitting in the Round
• Knit 2 Together Decrease
• Slip, Slip, Knit (SSK) Decrease
• Make 1 Increase, version of your choice
• Binding off

Optional:

• Knitted Cast-On
• Provisional Cast-On
