Only the cuff is knitted.

If you’ve made dozens of zoom loom squares and don’t know what to do with them, here is a simple and quick way to put them to good use: make fingerless hand warmers!

I have small hands, so two squares fit them perfectly. For larger hands, you can knit or crochet along one edge for as many rows as needed, to increase the width of the square. The squares barely cover the wrist, so I added a 2x2 ribbed cuff.

Materials:

  • Four zoom loomed squares
  • Tapestry needle
  • About 50 yards of worsted weight yarn
  • 4.5 mm DPNs or two 16” circulars, for knitting in the round
