Finally! It’s here! A TUNISIAN child’s sweater. (An adult version is just around the corner). This pattern requires a Tunisian Cable hook. I used an 18” cord for the smaller sizes. I use the Denise Interchangeable Tunisian hook set.

A possible yarn substitute would likely be Hobby Lobby’s “I love this Cotton”. Try also Lion Brand Cotton-Ease or TLC’s Cotton Plus. Please swatch to check your gauge before beginning.

One note, the sleeves are worked in a tube, so they are just as wide at the wrist as they are at the armhole. It can be difficult to work a tube in Tunisian if it is a small diameter (baby and child especially). To make it easier, work the pattern FLAT from the armhole BEFORE joining the armholes. It is noted in the pattern but I wanted to give you a head’s up.
