Zorre is latin for ZigZag. Using the shunted ladder stitch, made from yarnovers and simple knit and purl stitches, this delightful three dimensional texture is created.

The pattern is very forgiving and will work just as well with a fingering weight yarn as with a chunky yarn. Please ensure you adjust your needle according to the yarn instructions.

There is a video tutorial to demonstrate the construction of the ladder stitch (created across two rows).

Feel free to alter the length of your Zorre scarf for your personal preference. I like a longer scarf to give drape, I also realise that not everyone wants this.

I have used 2 x 100g balls of chunky yarn for the sample, which measures 24cm x 165cm. Due to the texture the scarf is narrower when worn measuring approx 15cm wide.
