Zwirn is a hat filled with cables that twist and turn. There is also a lace panel that runs between the cables. This hat pattern has a matching fingerless mitten pattern called Shout.

The pattern link will take you to helenbinghamdesigns.com where you will be asked to log onto the website in order to download the pattern. Your name, email address and state you live in are the only required fields (no financial information will be asked). Or you can download directly from Ravelry.

The green version is using the Blue Sky yarn and the mustard version is using Madelinetosh.

The hat starts with US 7, circular 16” needles, then after the ribbing you switch to US 9, circular 16” needles. DPN’s are used for the crown decreases.

My daughter is 11 years old and this fits her head very well. We both have about a 22” head circumference.

Looking forward to seeing finished hats soon. xo

Errata: If pattern was downloaded prior to September 25th, a small typo has been found on Round 24….should read T4B instead of T4FB (erase the F).
