Walking in a winter wonderland, wrapped in the warm reflection of snow crested evergreens; the Evergreen Sprig Scarf celebrates the motif of the season. Its unisex length facilitates wearing the scarf both traditionally, wrapped around the neck and covering the chest, or additionally for women, over the head, around the ears, and down comfortably around the neck. The bottom evergreen sprig motif is textured with knit, purl, twisted stitches, and simple cables. The smaller color worked sprigs radiate off the solid background in self-striping interest. This gender neutral pattern makes a great gift!

If you are new to organic cotton, I’ll let you in on a secret; organic cotton is warm, soft, and oh, so comfy. The Evergreen Sprig Scarf, knit in organic cotton, will keep you cozy even in the lowest of temperatures. I know because I have personally tested it, as has my Southern Belle sister. She came for a visit during last winter’s snow without the appropriate wears and found the scarf worked excellently to protect her ears, neck and chest from the blustery winds while tobogganing with her sons.

Advanced intermediate level – requires knit, purl, twisted stitches, cables, and color work. Tech edited pattern includes written instructions, charts, a glossary, and pictures.
