I am very fortunate to live beside the sea, in the Basque Country in the south west of France.
The bright blue of the sea and its waves, which are sometimes less calm than they first appear, inspired me to design this collection around that theme.
A unisex slouch hat, Aloe, is blue like the sea in the magnificent Rios Bobby Blue: knit seamlessly in the round and modelled by my son, Clément.
A simple shawl with alternating garter stitch and stockinette bands and a wave pattern border: the version in Silky Merino is modelled by Saioa, that in Rios by Manon.
You will also find this wave pattern in the short sleeved pullover, as modelled by Manon, designed to be worn next to the skin in oh so soft Silky Merino with delicate lace detail on the sleeves and sides.
On my daughter Anuhea’s sweater top a different, yet still easy to knit, wave pattern and the tones in Arroyo creating a unique result every time.
